Heidi Klum is a German actress born on 1st June, 1973. Erna Klum was Heidi's mother was a hairdresser who worked in a salon that is professional. Gunther Kum was the manager of an organization that dealt in cosmetics. Heidi's father was formerly an Operations Manager at the 4711 fragrance company. In Bergisch Gladbach she was born and was raised. Bergisch Gladbach is only six miles from Cologne. The German-American actress, hostess of a television show and former model Heidi Klum is now living in Southern California. Karin who was then an 18 year old student, encouraged her to participate in an German Talent Show dubbed Model 92. The show was a Thomas Gottschalk hosted late night talk program. Klum faced off against 25,000 contestants in Germany, Europe and beyond until she made it to three of the best. In April 1992 Klum was awarded $300,000.00 top prize for modeling.
