Mikaela was born in 1984. She is Italian-Iranian. Her childhood was spent in and she was born to Colbert Washington. As early as age two when she was two, she began taking dancing classes. Then, later on, she was involved in school productions. When she was a kid she started appearing in local advertisements. Then, she joined Loyola Marymount University's theatre program located in LA, USA, and finished her theatre degree. Mikaela first made her appearance in 2007 when she starred in a film called Frank. Later on, she was an important actress in the film 'Sorority Forever. In the following year, she portrayed the character of 'Humanzee' after an audition in front of James Gunn. The following role she was in was an actress in the main role on the James Gunn & Peter Safran X-Box Show Sparky & Mikaela. Hoover first appeared in American movies in 2010, where she played in the movie 'How I Met Your Mother. She also played in a film titled "Super," which was directed by the most acclaimed director James Gunn.
